I prefer watching my anime on the TV but alas there's very few animes I can do
that with...all the other anime I have is on my computer...which kinda hurts my
eyes after a whole series...say Kyou Kara Maou which took a fair few hours to
watch to say the least!
I think it seems that people tend to be drawn to the genre where the gender they
prefer is in a relationship with the same sex just because...well...we're all
rather hormonal, hehe
Personally, I prefer Yaoi and am not really a fan of Yuri at all
Well you see...my last boyfriend would be considered to be someone who was
selectively social...as in he has friends but he doesn't socialise a hell of a
lot...which made him slightly mysterious and well...I'm a sucker for mysterious.
The thing abouts loners is well-do they have a deep hidden secret that they'll
only let certain people into-in which case loner becomes mysterious and hell yes
comes to mind. However, if loner equates to an individual who doesn't have any
friends because he sits on his computer all day and finds the human race a waste
of time to socialise with then...hell no comes to mind. I'm not a big fan of
the socialite but a guy who has a bunch of close friends just generally means
that he's a nice guy and easy to get on with.
Well I'm at university now [obviously mixed] but I went to an all girls
secondary school [high school] and a co-ed primary school [age 5-11]. I was
very shy towards guys when I was in primary school so secondary school helped to
get me out of my shell...but I only really became as extroverted as I am now
when they started letting in guys into the 6th form [college]. It was
hilarious-there were 12 guys and 300 girls in the college...2500 girls in total
in the whole school. Man the guys were happy. But I'd say I have an even mix
of female and male friends...but thats because I had male freinds outside the
school situation. I'd say my closest group of friends at university are all
female but my best friend is male so I suppose I dunno where i lie in this
arguement. Generally single sex schools are only appropriate upto the age of
about 14-15 and then it really does hamper your ability to relate to the
opposite sex in a platonic way because of the fact that you're so not used to
relating to them in a friend situation. But thats just my opinion...
As said before it is fairly dependent on genre however I have to say that I'm
most inclined to go with wannabe fansubs, aarinfantasy and well all the others
[like anime-keep, ayu etc] have already been listed.
I've also found Iichan fansubs to be very professional but they soley deal with
an anime called Emma which is why one would assume it turns out so well
Again, the two are so completely different...I am intrigued as to how you came
about comparing the two in the first place. Because of the fact that they are
so different I'd have to say both-FMA is of course fantastic and FLCL is just
the most random, hilarious, mind-blowingly bizarre thing I've ever come across
in my life and I love it.
I believe it was about 2 days straight of CCS...all of it...including the
movies...all subbed-I thought my eyes were going to fall out by the end of
it
I've also done all of Vandread, all of *wait...thinks* most of the time I watch
an entire series back-to-back if I can
Both really-its very dependent on which anime it is. Something like School
Rumble is great watched with friends because it's so hilarious and comedy tends
to work well with a lot of poeple, But something like Loveless or Fruits basket
is better watched alone because it lets you concentrate on the plot more. Well
thats my opinion anyhoos
Aiii, Gakuen Alice! I can't stop watching it...but alas I've had to since
they've only subbed upto episode 7...*sniff* I think it's hilarious. Who's
your favourite character? I think mine's probably either Ruka...or the
Pheromone guy...or possibly the sempai
